Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Erica Toskovich is a first generation Mexican-American therapist practicing in the state of Texas. Native Houstonian, mom of two and wife.  When she isn’t attending her practice she spends time with family and friends, she enjoys DIY, and reading about social justice, mystery and fiction books, and educational articles. She’s an avid foodie and loves  visiting new local eateries and learning about other cultures. Erica is fluent in English and Spanish.

Erica’s professional experience includes work with trauma, life transitions, life stressors and challenges, anxiety, and depression. She is also trained in different settings that have allowed her the opportunity to work with youth community centers, shelters, schools, local agencies, outpatient, as well as facilitated Mind Body Medicine groups to the community.

Erica attended the University of Houston where she obtained her BA in Psychology and in 2012 she graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University where her focus was on Counseling. 

She has received training in Trauma Focused CBT, trauma informed care and as a facilitator of this training. Trained in Prolonged Exposure, CBT Insomnia & Nightmares, Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Received training for Mind Body Medicine practices after Hurricane Harvey. Most recently completed the International Certificate in Collaborative Practices Train the Trainer (ICCP) program through Houston Galveston Institute.
